MultiVersus’ Gizmo Will Be A Support Character, Released This Week –

Gizmo off Gremlins is on its way to MultiVersus, which Player First Games recently confirmed. And while the team went ahead and said he’ll be a separate fighter from Stripe, it also recently confirmed that Gizmo will be a supporting character in addition to naming a few of his abilities.

The studio announced Gizmo’s class on Twitter with a quick overview of his moveset. Gizmo will be able to fire an arrow that will ignite if fully charged, attach to the backs of his allies, and sing to damage his opponents. And since he’s a support, he’ll have some kind of buff to his teammate or debuff to his enemies, but that hasn’t been clarified yet. He will have other moves, but they are also yet to be revealed.

These traits will soon be on display when Gizmo comes to the game on September 8th as Player First confirmed last week. The wording suggests that he was originally scheduled for September 6, but was delayed.

Stripe doesn’t have a release date, which is odd considering he was revealed well before Gizmo. Regardless, he will be added to the game sometime in the next few months when Season 1 rolls out.
