The Narco-Saints trailer teases Netflix’s South Korean crime drama series

Netflix has released the official trailer for Narco-saintsthe upcoming South Korean crime drama starring Play octopus actor Park Hae-soo, who is currently nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. The series is scheduled to make its debut on Friday, September 9.

The video shows business Kang In-gu as he is framed by a notorious Korean drug lord who moonlights as a priest. He must infiltrate Jeon Yohan’s cartel to restore his reputation.



Based on true events, Narco-saints centered around an ordinary entrepreneur who joins a secret government mission to capture a Korean drug lord operating in South America. The series stars Ha Jung-woo (The maid), Hwang Jung-min (Ode to my father), Park Hae-soo (Play octopus), Jo Woo-jin (Chicago typewriter), Yoo Yeon-seok (Hospital playlist), and Chang Chen (Dune).

Narco-saints is co-created and written by Kwon Sung-hui and Yoon Jong-bin, who also serves as director.
