House of the Dragon Episode 4 Promo Teases Return to King’s Landing

After another incredibly action-packed episode last Sunday night, HBO has dropped the promo trailer for the upcoming fourth episode of House of the Dragon, entitled “The King of the Narrow Sea”. Fourth episode of Game of Thrones the prequel is scheduled to air on September 11.

That House of the Dragon episode four promo continues to highlight the strained relationship between brothers King Viserys and Prince Daemon, who returns to King’s Landing as the King of the Narrow Sea after his victory in episode three. The video also teases the ongoing courtship for the hand of Princess Rhaenyra, who refuses to be the answer to Viserys’ political problems.

Based on George RR Martin’s Fire & Blood, House of the Dragon tells the story of the rise and fall of the Targaryens, the only family of dragon lords to survive the fall of Valyria. It takes place 300 years before the events of the award-winning serial adaptation of Play off Throneswhich aired its last episode almost two years ago.

The 10-episode series is led by Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke and Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. It will also feature Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Milly Alcock, Emily Carey, Graham McTavish, Ryan Corr, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Matthew Needham, Bill Patterson, Gavin Spokes, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Savannah Steyn and Theo Nate.

House of the Dragon comes from George RR Martin, Ryan Condal and Game of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik, with Condal and Sapochnik also attached to serve as showrunners. Executive producers are Martin, Sapochnik, Condal, Vince Gerardis and Sara Lee Hess.
