As expected is Game of Thrones prequel the series has already captured the hearts of millions worldwide shortly after its debut. The premiere was an instant success and Episode 2 followed up with more drama and dragons in full George RR Martin style. House of the Dragon Episode 3 will likely follow in the footsteps of its predecessors.

When to see House of the Dragon episode 3

House of the Dragon Episode 3 premieres on HBO and HBO Max at 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT Sunday, September 4th. Directed by Greg Yaitanes and written by Ryan Condal and Gabe Fonseca, the next episode is called “Second of His Name.” The hype for the highly regarded series is skyrocketing, the proof is that House of the Dragon premiere was the most watched series launch of all time on HBO. The sophomore episode showed how King Viserys I (Paddy Considine) dealt with the exile of his brother, Daemon Targaryan (Matt Smith), from court. Seen 300 years ago Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon follows the rise and fall of the Targaryens, the only family of dragon lords to survive the Fall of Valyria.

That House of the Dragon The cast also includes Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint and Eve Best. Plus Sonoya Mizuno, Milly Alcock, Emily Carey, Graham McTavish, Ryan Corr, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Matthew Needham, Bill Patterson, Gavin Spokes, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Savannah Steyn and Theo Nate.

House of the Dragon comes from Martin, Ryan Condal and Game of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik. Condal and Sapochnik also serve as showrunners. Executive producers are Martin, Sapochnik, Condal, Vince Gerardis and Sara Lee Hess. Game of Thrones and Westworld composer Ramin Djawadi returns to the series.
