Netflix has released the official trailer for The end of the road, the upcoming road trip thriller starring Queen Latifah and Chris Bridges aka Ludacris. The film will be available for streaming on September 9.
That The end of the road the trailer, which you can check out below, shows Latifah’s character as she tries everything she can to protect her family from the criminals trying to hunt them down.
The end of the road is directed by Millicent Shelton from a script written by David Loughery (The intruding, Obsessed), which was based on Christopher Moore’s original screenplay. The film stars Latifah, Ludacris, Shaun Dixon, Mychala Lee Beau Bridges, France Lee McCain, Jesse Luken and more.
“The film is about a mother of two who moves across the country with her children and brother,” reads the synopsis. “The family’s move to the south is thrown into complete chaos when they witness a murder on their road trip. Now the killer will stop at nothing to find them.”
The end of the road is executive produced by Latifah and Shakim Compere through their Flavor Unit Entertainment banner. It is produced by Tracey Edmonds, Twisted Pictures’ Mark Burg and Brad Kaplan.
Latifah’s notable film credits include The Bone Collector, Chicago, Bringing the house down, Stranger than fiction, Last holiday, Hair sprayand blockbuster and critically acclaimed comedy Girls tripwith Chicago earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
