Taking to Twitter, Duke and Ventura – who both starred in the original Predator movie in 1987 — praised the recently released film, with both also taking time to highlight Amber Midthunder’s performance. Midhunder stars in the film as Naru, a young Comanche woman who walks side by side with the Predator. The couple welcomed her in Predator family, while also praising director Dan Trachtenberg’s work on the film.

You can check out Ventura and Duke’s tweets below:

“Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Exchange is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior,” reads the synopsis. “She grew up in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters that roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she pursues and ultimately confronts , turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technologically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.”

The cast consists almost entirely of Native and First Nations talent, including Amber Midthunder (The ice road), newcomer Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp (Sooyee), Michelle Thrush (The journey home), and Julian Black Antelope (Tribal). It also stars Dane DiLiegro (American Horror Stories) as the predator.
