Yuke’s, the studio behind many of them WWE 2K game, has been working on his AEW title, AEW: Fight Forever, for a few years and has been slowly revealing more about the game. The studio recently released a short teaser hinting at a bigger reveal next week, but Xbox has apparently accidentally uploaded the gameplay trailer in its entirety.

As captured by user Bucks2lit on Twitter, the gameplay trailer starts with real-life footage of commentator Tony Schiavone and wrestler Britt Baker. The two then sit down and “play” AEW: Fight Foreverwhich shows off some wrestling gameplay as well as a look at its various off-the-wall minigames like a home run derby-like event and some sort of button-matching sequence.
That Steam page has even more information about the game. It will have online co-op, tag team matches, a “deep career” mode, wrestler customization, daily and weekly challenges, over 40 weapons and “signature AEW arenas” and modes like Casino Battle Royale, Falls Count Anywhere , Unsanctioned Lights Out, and Exploding Barbed Wire. The teaser image shows CM Punk, Kenny OmegaBritt Baker, Chris Jericho, Jade Cargilland Jon Moxleybut the full list was not listed.
The leaked trailer said the game is coming “soon,” but didn’t specify a window. However, it will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC for $59.99.
The full trailer was originally slated to be part of THQ Nordic’s August 12 showcase before Xbox uploaded it early. The stream will no doubt have more surprises in store, but now it will just have one less one.
