The upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk: Lawyer is set to feature cameos from a variety of locations, including some that fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have yet to see at all.
In the latest trailer for She-Hulk, fans got a small glimpse of what appeared to be Daredevil appearing in his original costume from the first few issues of his comic book series. But speaking to Deadline after Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, She-Hulk writer Jessica Gao teased even more cameos, many of which “never existed in the MCU.”
“It’s a lot of fun, a lot of cameos and a lot of characters that have never existed in the MCU before that we’re pulling out of the comics,” Gao said. “What I’m most excited about is really getting the time and space to fully explore this character. Because in the Marvel movies, it’s always these high-stakes events — the universe is ending, half the people in the whole existence is snapped out. We never really have time to explore who these people are. What are their regular lives like? And what’s really nice about this is that we actually get the time and space to do that .”
