Emma Roberts joins the cast of Sony’s Madame Web Film

Emma Roberts is set to join the cast in the upcoming Sony Pictures movie Madame Webaccording to a recent report from Deadline.

Roberts will join an already star-studded cast with Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isbalea Merced and Tahar Rahim. The upcoming film will be directed by SJ Clarkson, with a screenplay written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. At the moment, it is unclear who Roberts will play, and Sony has not had any official comments on the casting.

Roberts’ last film role came in the 2020s The hunt and Holidateeven though she is set to star in the upcoming film Abandoned. Roberts is best known for his time on American horror story series, which saw her appear in almost every season of the series beginning with American Horror Story: Coven.

Sonys Madame Web will be led by Dakota Johnson as the titular Spider-Man character. Along with Johnson, the young actresses are Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria), Celeste O’Connor (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), and Isabela Merced (Transformers: The Last Knight) along with Golden Globe nominee Tahar Rahim.

Madame Web will be directed by SJ Clarkson (Jessica Jones) from a manuscript written by Morbius scribes Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.
