Temuera Morrison is no stranger to the world of Star warswhere his latest role comes in a brief appearance at Disney +’s Obi-Wan Kenobi.
“It was the best part of it all Obi-Wan Kenobi show! I’m making fun, ”Morrison said of the cameo. “I really enjoyed it. Playing around in their history and their time zone – things are changing. I represent the whole clone army that no longer exists.”
Morrison played a clone trooper who was unlucky Obi-Wan Kenobi, a role that saw Morrison return to a role he played in the prequel trilogies (Morrison played Jango Fett, Commander Cody, as well as Clone Troopers, who starred in the film). According to the actor, however, it was a good opportunity to revisit the world of prequels.
“It was a wonderful opportunity to come in and see what they were doing across the room, from where we were,” Morrison explained. “It was convenient, it worked pretty well to make a little cameo. I enjoyed working with Ewan again, going back to The attack of the clones. We did all that [puts on clone character’s voice]”Hey you! You came to see me and this army,” and all that. It was a wonderful time. “
In addition to his performance as Clone Trooper, Morrison also played an older version of bounty hunter Boba Fett in both The Mandalorian and The book about Boba Fett.
