I love decorate for the holidays but I am overwhelmed by the number of holiday decor ideas out there! I wanted to gather some of the holiday decor ideas I’ve saved over the years to give myself (and you) some inspiration as I decorate my own home. Should I make tinsel again? A tree with only ribbons? How about a super simple naked vegetable situation? Or how about all of the above?
Browse a few of my favorite holiday decor ideas in the list below.

Hey, TINSEL! I used this shiny material on our trees last year and love the way Gwen decorated hers. There is a lot of dimension and a bit of pattern that comes through thanks to the way she applied it in small groupings.
I consider Jordan the queen of colorful trees full of vintage ornaments. She can also tie a bad bow. Year after year I look forward to seeing how she remixes her large collection of bright balls on the tree.

If you want cozy yet elegant holiday vibes with lots of color, pattern and general cheer, this is the place to look!

This is another great way to incorporate ribbon into holiday decor! They used a variety of colors, tied them at the top of the tree, and then had each color fall down the tree. I love it.
This holiday decor example reminds me that a squat, minimally decorated tree can make the best cheery holiday focal point.
You know, I love everything Matilda does, but there’s something extra special about how she incorporates garlands and other holiday motifs into her rooms. Her sister-in-law is a florist Willow Crossley– she also has great tips for tablescapes and much more!
