Apparently the spooky season isn’t over yet. Wednesday (rather appropriately), stars from the upcoming Netflix and Tim Burton series “Wednesday” gathered for the premiere in Los Angeles dressed in their gothcore finest. From a sartorial perspective, they certainly did the Addams Family proud.
Jenna Ortega, who stars as the title character Wednesday Addams, wore a gothic bridal look Versace‘s Spring 2023 collectioncomplete with a dramatic leg slit, lace cutouts, a mesh veil, black nail polish and inky, dark-edged eye makeup.
Christina Ricci — who portrayed Wednesday in the 1991 and 1993 “Addams Family” films and appears in the Netflix series — also went for a creepy fashion moment. For the occasion, she chose a sheer, spidery look Rodartes Autumn 2020 collection.
Striking shoulder looks were a dominant trend from the evening: Both Gwendoline Christie and Catherine Zeta-Jones chose ensembles with a focus on exaggerated structure, while Emma Myers and Joy Sunday both wore off-the-shoulder dresses.
