Streeters is hiring a part-time Art/Design Intern in New York, NY

Title: Intern in the art department (focused on graphic design)
Place: New York
Job type: Part-time (Tuesday-Thursday in the office, approximately 20 hours per week)
Reports to: Visual Strategist

Street people is looking to recruit a part-time intern for the art/digital department in their NY office. The right candidate will be highly organized with great attention to detail and will have strong communication and digital skills.

You will assist with the department’s day-to-day responsibilities, which include the following:

● Help maintain the digital archive and artists’ online portfolios
● Creating client and artist presentations in Keynote and InDesign
● Compile newsletters and assist with mailing lists and other marketing and sales tools
● Communicate with publications, brands and outside photography agencies to request images
● Monitoring artists’ press and news
● Stay informed about new artists, new clients, new magazines, general industry news
● Help with the agency’s digital platforms, including social media
● Assist with the daily operation of the Digital Department

● Important knowledge of Microsoft Office, Keynote and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
● Mac skills, Microsoft Office, Outlook and general computer skills are essential
● Great organizational skills
● Professional communication skills
● Flexibility, as tasks will vary throughout the day
● A strong interest and knowledge base in fashion and photography

COMPENSATION – $17.50 an hour

Our team works on site at our Soho office several days a week and pretty much the rest. Candidates must be able to commute. The intern schedule will be determined by availability and business needs every two weeks.
