A few months ago, after searching high and low for the perfect pair black casual pants, I bought what I thought was a great pair for a whopping $140. When I received them in the mail, I was shocked to find that the material was practically as thin as single-ply toilet paper, and that the quality certainly didn’t match the exorbitant price. Although I loved the fit and style, I started searching for a similar one a pair of trousers made with better quality materials and at a much better price. After a few extra weeks of searching, I stumbled across one of the most amazing pairs of pants I’ve ever owned: Old Navy high-waisted wide-leg stretch-tech pants ($40).
What I like about Old Navy High-waisted Stretch-Tech Wide Leg Pants
These pants are a best seller on the Old Navy website and I can totally see why. If I had to describe what I like about them in just one word, I would say “everything”. I love the fit and the fact that they are high waisted. I also love that they have zippered pockets on each side because I know if I want a credit card or my ID loose in my pockets, everything will be secure. I love the fabric which is not only comfortable and breathable but also quick drying and made with UV sun protection in mind. Although they are light, they are big enough to keep me warm when I go to my morning hot girl goes in 40 degree weather.
What’s worth noting about Old Navy High Waisted Stretch-Tech Wide Leg Pants
I’m 5’6 1/2″ and before I made my purchase I was tossing up between a regular length small or the tall length. After reading reviews I chose to buy a regular size small but I think I could have gotten the tall version. The length I bought hits me below the ankles and doesn’t look like a pair of floods in any way, but I prefer my pants to be on the longer side.
Because I love these pants so much, I plan to buy them in a few more colors, and I think I’ll buy them in the tall version so I can have them extra long.
Who are the old navy blue high-waisted stretch-tech wide-leg trousers best for?
I think these Old Navy pants are perfect for anyone who wants to look stylish but put in minimal effort. I currently own these pants in black and they have been super easy to style. I can wear them with sneakers and a puffer jacket to run errands, or I can wear them with fuzzy slippers and a T-shirt when I’m working from home. They also look great with an oversized sweatshirt and my favorite Birkenstock clogs. They’re trendy and in right now, but they’re still extremely comfortable, making them a pair of pants I reach for all the time.
