Kylie Jenner has returned to Paris for it menswear showsafter her memorable appearance at Couture Week in October. The 25-year-old beauty mogul first attended John Galliano’s co-ed presentation for Maison Margiela on Jan. 22, which takes place at its headquarters at 12 Place des États-Unis.
Jenner working with stylist duo Alexandra and Mackenzie Grandquist, wore a custom take on one of the runway looks. She stepped out in a ruched silk light blue mini dress with a scalloped hemline; multi-layered check coat with cascading tulle ruffles; metallic 5AC Classique baby bag; and tabi pumps in silver with rhinestones. Jenner’s makeup artist went heavy on the sparkle with glitter eyeshadow and a glossy caramel lip. Her dark hair was tied into a balloon-like low bun at the nape of her neck. Jenner didn’t hold back in sharing photos from her fans Instagram stories of her nude latex lingerie, consisting of a set of boy shorts and a bustier with a cone bra.
Jenner’s look spoke to the theme of the presentation, which included both a digital display and a traditional runway show. Galliano continued to build on the Southern Gothic tale of ill-fated lovers Count and Hen, which he introduced with his Artisanal 2022 line called Cinema Inferno. According to a press release from the fashion house, Galliano’s latest designs were inspired by youth-centric ideals, juxtaposing a sense of rebellion with happy childhood memories. In collaboration with The Walt Disney Company, Margiela also parodied Mickey Mouse ears and plaid Pendleton shirts worn backwards, marrying fantasy with a punk sensibility. The collection also introduced the brand’s eyewear collaboration with Gentle Monster.
