On Sunday, Kourtney Kardashian shared some photos of her time with husband Travis Barker when he stopped by to play at the Taylor Hawkins tribute show at Wembley Stadium in London. Hawkins’ nickname was The Hawk, and Kardashian posted a bird emoji to caption the photos in honor of the late drummer.
In the carousel, Kardashian and Barker were photographed walking hand in hand backstage in their rocker outfits. The Kardashians the star wore an oversized white t-shirt over a black turtle neck, which was seamlessly paired with a pair of black opera gloves. She wore knee high black boots and carried a small black purse in one hand. Beneath her shirt hung pieces of fabric studded with oversized eyelets.
Barker wore a vintage Judas Priest t-shirt, a silver chain necklace, black sneakers and a matching hat, and a pair of black pants painted with bleach stains. In addition to the Blink-182 drummer, the concert featured the Foo Fighters, who will play another tribute show on September 27 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. All the musicians were good friends with Hawkins, who died in March.
“I don’t have the words. Sad to write this or never to see you again,” Barker wrote in a tribute then. “I’ll never forget the Laguna Beach days when I was a garbage man playing in a punk rock band and you were playing with Alanis. You’d come and see me play in dive bars and say, ‘kid, you’re a star.'” And I thought you were crazy, but you gave me so much hope and determination.”
He continued: “Years later we toured with Blink and the Foo’s in Australia and I have the best memories of smoking cigarettes in the toilet on flights we were on together watching your set every night. Saying I’ll miss you , my friend, is not enough. Until the next time we drum and smoke in the boys’ room… Rest in peace.”
