Kate Middleton has a knack for finding incredible pieces, be it one Zara blazer or an Alexander McQueen coat dress, and style them in new ways again and again. But of all the things she wears on repeat, it’s her coat collection that I find particularly impressive.
The Princess of Wales’ latest outerwear sighting arrived earlier this week when she visited a nursery in Luton, England as part of her work helping with child development in the UK. For the occasion, she wore an orange turtleneck and skirt set by Gabriela Hearst, topped with a tailored camel coat from Zara’s luxury big sister brand Massimo Dutti, who according to the blog Kate Middleton style, she has used a total of five times in the last three years. Middleton polished off the classic look by adding chocolate brown suede boots from Gianvito Rossi, a matching Stuart Weitzman clutch and a crocodile-effect belt from Ralph Lauren Polo. While absolutely stunning, her recycled Massimo Dutti coat was the clear winner of the ensemble.
Given its long tenure in The princess’s wardrobe, her exact coat from the Spanish brand is no longer available. A little drapery too much for the camel style, though, is. Shop it and more timeless and smart camel coats below.
