On Sunday, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had a date night at Nobu in Malibu wearing matching tan and white ensembles. Lopez wore a summery long-sleeved dress in white with a drawstring waist. She carried a tan and black Christian Dior bag and wore red sandals that just peeked out from under the hem of her flowing skirt. She had her hair swept back in a bun, loosely tumbling pieces around her face, and wore a small pendant and some rings on her hands.
Affleck wore a white button-down shirt and a pair of khakis with white sneakers, and they walked hand-in-hand as they passed through the parking lot of the restaurant.
The couple enjoyed dinner with Lopez’s 14-year-old twins, Emme and Max, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony. The couple recently returned from their honeymoon in Italy after celebrating their second marriage ceremony at Affleck’s Georgia estate. The newlyweds first tied the knot in an intimate retreat in Las Vegas before inviting all their friends and family to the weekend-long event in the southern state. Lopez shared details of the larger nuptials on The JLo newsletter, sharing a photo of herself in a white Ralph Lauren wedding dress dancing with Affleck under a neon sign reading “Mr. and Mrs. Affleck.”
“When he saw me appear at the top of the stairs at that moment, it both made absolute sense while still seeming impossible to believe, like the best dream where all you want is to never wake up,” wrote she in her newsletter. “I probably would have had many of the same thoughts if I hadn’t been focusing so hard on not tripping over my dress, but when I got close enough to see his face, it all made wonderful sense to me.”
She added: “Some old wounds were healed that day and the weight of the past was finally lifted from our shoulders. Full circle – and not at all how we planned it. Better.”
J. Lo and Affleck were engaged nearly two decades ago before calling it off and going on to marry other people. Lopez married Marc Anthony, and Affleck married actress Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares three children.
