This Dyson vacuum is on sale for one of the lowest prices we’ve ever seen (plus 7 more Epic Gear deals we like)

One of Dyson’s newest vacuum cleaners is also its most peculiar. Why? Because it only works on wooden floors, making it the only Dyson vacuum that is not able to adapt to all floor types. Released in 2021, it was overshadowed by the Dyson Omni-glide V15 Discover, which was announced at the same time. The V15 Detect has its well-thought-out laser head, but the Omni-glide has the superb ability to make vacuuming a kind of funny. It’s one of the lightest Dyson vacuums around – weighing a hair over four pounds – and converts quickly from stick to handheld. The cleaning head can be rotated 360 degrees, which makes the vacuum cleaner incredibly easy to maneuver. (Seriously: This thing glides all over the floor with such ease it’s like sliding on ice.) And if you have low-slung furniture, it also folds down so it’s practically parallel to the floor for entry in them. hard to reach places.

One of our favorite features of the Omni-glide is its push-button control. Where other Dysons requires you to constantly hold down a trigger for operation – leading to finger cramps and constant struggles to keep the vacuum running – Omni-glide stays on with a light push of a button.

Dyson Omni-glide Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

As we said, this thing is only good for hardwood floors, so if you have a lot of carpeted areas (or your home is just carpeted), we suggest looking at other Dyson vacuums instead (we might interest you V8 Absolutely?). But if you’re not in the market for this hardwood-only vacuum, here are seven other great deals worth checking out this week.
