Dua Lipa sparkled in a cut-out bedazzled catsuit for her latest performance

With many more shows left this summer, Dua Lipa is busy. On Saturday, July 30, the singer wore her signature cat outfit to headline the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival in Montreal, Quebec. Sporting a bedazzled black one-piece, she wowed the crowd not only with her vocals but with her amazing sense of style. The lace costume had a plunging neckline that exposed the black halter bra top she layered underneath; a mid-section cutout; and a bodice adorned with purple embroidery all over. Lipa accessories with matching opera gloves for maximum effect.

A few days earlier she shook the same catsuit silhouette for her Lollapalooza performance in Chicago. She sparkled in a sheer Mugler catsuit that left a memorable impression on festival goers. To be fair, Lipa is no stranger to a hectic work schedule. The last few months have been nothing short of fast for the “Don’t Start Now” singer, traveling from country to country for her “Future Nostalgia” Tour, which began in February and ends in November. While her days may be filled with travel, Lipa never fails to turn heads with her Y2K inspired sense of fashion. Offstage, Lipa chooses a more relaxed, sporty look low-rise pantsbaseball caps and the latest in lingerie trends. But on stage it’s a very different story.

During her 90-minute setlist, Lipa has several costume changes, each of which coincides with a different act. In an interview with Vogue, Lipa elaborated, “Each outfit tells a different story, from the first one being like the dance class to the space suit at the end.” She also shared what she looks for in a costume — something comfortable that also makes her feel really good. Work with her stylist Lorenzo Posoccothe team hired Balenciaga to create two tailored lace catsuits and Mugler Creative Director Casey Cadwallader to make his final ensemble. Lipa performs fan-favorite songs in these incredible pieces clad in opera-length gloves that cement the aesthetic in our heads as the epitome of her.

Meanwhile, the star recently released his collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, “Sweetest pie“; collaborates with Puma on a line of athletic clothing; scored July 2022 cover of Vogue; and is making her acting debut in “Argylle”. Through it all, she doesn’t let her strong sense of style fall by the wayside.
