4 flat shoe trends that will die out in 2023 and what will replace them

I won’t go so far as to say that I hate them, but I’ll be the first to admit it apartments has never been my thing – for a couple of reasons. I much prefer the bold look of heels or a platform sole to elevate an outfit, and if I’m going to reach for a comfortable shoe, it’s more likely to be a pair of sneakers than anything else. However, I am not immune to the trade winds either current shoe trends. And lately the cool flats are blowing my way.

With that in mind, I recently took it upon myself to scour the internet for actually stylish flats that I would hypothetical wear, I was willing to trade my many other go-to shoes. Deep in my trend research, I came to a realization – yes, several realizations. To my own surprise, I found more worthy candidates than I would have ever imagined. I noticed that the more dated flat shoes that made me a flat hater in the first place are slowly fading out of sight and are quickly being replaced by fresher alternatives such as beautiful ballet flats which I am actually for. I may have even picked a few of these already.
